FitnessAlive for Netball lovers to come together, passionate about the game of netball, and currently boasting 10 teams competing in current leagues, with an aim to increase to 15 competing netball teams in early 2022.
FitnessAlive is a Durban based netball club with players ranging from 7 years old to adults and our parents join in the fun and fitness. We welcome netball players of all skill levels – new to netball, experienced and lapsed players.
FitnessAlive netball club works toward achieving:
- Player fitness & netball skill development in a fun environment
- All netball players achieving their own personal best
- Player sportsmanship and commitment to their team
- Maintaining netball friendships beyond the the netball club.
- Re-igniting the love of netball competition for open age players
- Give netball players the resilience and values to take through other areas of life.
2024
FitnessAlive is passionate about Netball and is committed to growing the sport in the Durban area, with 2024 being a year with lots of promise, there will be new initiatives on offer, the FitnessAlive Netball Challenge, a termly netball tournament, teams and players are invited to register to play in the FitnessAlive netball challenge tournaments.
International Netball Tour
In addition, FitnessAlive is also looking to introduce an annual Netball tour for players wanting to do a UK Netball tour, this is a new FitnessAlive initiative being worked on, with a view to starting this exciting venture for our members in late 2025. Watch this space for more info.
Durban's favourite netball club, a growing netball movement that is always looking for new inventive ways to get involved and develop our netball players. Membership Fees
Membership Fees R640 per month per player (Junior and Senior). Guests can attend one off netball sessions R150 per session. Please notify FASFA admin and book the session.
The fees cover coaching, equipment and skills training sessions. Fees do not include player uniform costs. League Netball match fees are not included, the match fee is payable in cash prior to the game.
The change of membership fees shall be notified to all Members at least thirty days prior to such fees becoming due and payable. Membership Fees are payable on the 1st day of each month by EFT or stop order.
Join our netball club
Ria, the head coach has a brilliant track record & many netball league wins. You can attend any of the sessions that suit your schedule. Ria has been KZN outdoor coach for many years, She has played KZN super league & has played in the Ethekwini TWIZZA league, in addition she has coached in many schools in the Durban area.
The netball club offers coaching at 3 different venues & various times during the week, members can attend the sessions that suit.
The FitnessAlive Netball Academy enters teams for indoor and outdoor netball leagues, match fees are usually paid at the match in cash to the coach before the game.

All netball training sessions are about an hour to two hours depending on the players positive responses through attendance.
Netball sessions listed can change at short notice & seasonally depending on requirement and availability.
Netball Players are notified of session times for the week ahead and can attend any or all sessions.
Netball Coaching
FitnessAlive offers netball team training & fitness sessions for all ages from 6 years to Adults. In addition there are social netball teams and various membership types to choose from.
